Pumpkin Patch

Thursday we headed out to our little annual trip to the pumpkin patch with Nana & Pawpaw Carlos. We have been going there for 3 yrs now I cant believe it. We got there an again as soon as we pull into park it starts pouring down rain. I was excited cause before we parked there were not many people there an I love it when places like that our not packed with people. That way the kids can run free an I can still see them. But there was a reason there werent that many people there cause they knew it was going to rain. We waited in the car bout 5-10 mins an then it was just sprinkling. I said alittle rain is not going to hurt anyone. So we got out an were walking around. We found the bin with the little pumpkins so the kids got to pick out some pumpkins.

We followed the kids wherever they wanted to go. They had bounce houses an a merry go round. The kids loved that. They have all kinds of wood cuts out an I got some good pics of Landon. Addi was going to where the horses were.

(were not quite tall enough for this yet).

He was so cute he would say "mom take my pic with Diego"
An then we found the bails of hay! An saw the older kids getting up on it an jumping down so they decided they would do it to.

Soon after they were done jumping off it started to rain again so we decided to leave. But we plan on going back to get some big pumpkins. This week or next.

Oh I forgot before we got to the pumpkin patch we go thru the back part of the airport so they can see planes. An we found this new observation area were you can watch the airplanes land an take off. They have picnic tables an things you can look thru to get a better look at the planes. We plan on doing that again to. The kids loved it.

(my three kids).

KICKED THE PACI'S

We have finally kicked the paci's!!!!!!! Its been over a week now an we no longer take the paci. Now they might ask for it but we distract them to something else an dont hear about it again. Joel decided it was time, an while he was off work we decided we could both be strong bout it decided not to give it to them one day at nap an we havent had it since. It was much easier than I thought it would be. They dont cry for them when its time to go to nap or bed. Now nap time takes alittle longer to go to sleep, but if that is all I have to worry bout. I am in good shape. They have had those things since the time they were delivered. The hospital put those things in there mouth right away in the NICU, so they could start sucking. I know Joel wont say this but to think there not babies anymore is sad for me. But I know it was time to get rid of those things. But I am blessed that it was that easy. They were very good babies an are pretty good toddlers (even in the terrible twos haha). I am a very lucky mommy!

Fossil Rim

Last Saturday we decided to take the kids somewhere. Since Joel had his surgery we have been stuck in the house. So we needed to get the kids out before they got to bored an destroyed my house. So we kinda came up with Fossil Rim in a spur of the moment thing. An I am so glad we did. We headed out but 10 or so. Nana & Pawpaw Carlos decided to join us, so both the kids could see. One riding with us an one riding with them. So we headed out, we were alittle ahead of Paula an Carlos getting there so we decided to take our time. We passed this little tip pee an cabin type thing an decided to stop an let them walk around an see the neat stuff. I am glad we did they enjoyed that. I would love to do that more often. Getting a lit education an seeing new things. We got back in the car an headed to Fossil Rim by this time they were not far behind us. We arrived an let the kids walk around til they got there. In the entrance they had dinosaurs.

So we bought our tickets an got food an off we went. We had Addi for the first half. I think the kids just loved being able to sit with us an not their car seats. As we drive in the entrance it starts to pour (thank goodness you drive your car around), an the first animals we come to start going off under the trees. I thought it would be like this the whole way. But it rained for maybe 5 Min's an then stopped an the animals start coming out again. This was the neatest thing I had ever seen was these animals coming up to your car an they were the cutest things.
(I was a little afraid of the ostrich they are not the nicest animals). So we see deer, billy goats, more deer. emu's. All different things an Addi was enjoying feeding them. She said it tickled every time one would eat out of her hand.

(me an my Addi girl. Her eyes look beautiful in this pic. Like her Great Grandpa Garrett an Great Grandma Gigliotta).

This was my favorite part along with Addi the zebras an the giraffe's. Even though the zebras scared me a bit. It was so neat to be up so close an personal with these animals.

(an no the zebra didnt do that to my mirror my husband did! lol)
Halfway thru the trail is a place where they have a petting zoo an gift shop an place to have lunch. We got out an went to the petting zoo. They had goats, two turtles an birds u could see. But the kids loved the goats. I think I might have to give in an move to the country so these kids can have a farm. They LOVE animals!

We ate some lunch an talked to a really nice man. That told us everything about this place. An then headed back down with Landon to see more animals. Landon loved the fact that he could drive with his daddy!

The place was really neat. We def. enjoyed our day out there. We are thinking bout getting season passes there its so neat. An the kids loved it. It rained but it was still alot of FUN!!!
