Summertime Summertime

I cant believe its already July where has the time gone????? The kids seem to be growing like little weeds. I think they have also grown gills as well, they love being in the water. Almost everyday they are in some sort of water either our blow up pool, Ms Brooke's pool. An we have been working on swimming with out our floaties an Landon is doing awesome job he can swim underwater 10 to 20 ft an Addison is not far behind him. I love how one does something an the other is just right behind doing it, its awesome to watch! An watching them grow is such an indescribable feeling I love my munchkins. Here are some great pics from their time swimming!

TBALL. The Bulls

(the team with Jakob trying to escape)
This is alittle late but I was waiting to get some pics for the blog. We decided to sign the kids up for tball this season. I knew Landon would like it but I didnt want to leave Addison out so we signed her up as well. Poor thing she was the only girl but really that didnt faze her one bit. Joel signed up to help coach little did he know that he would actually be the coach. He did a wonderful job coaching I am very very proud of him. He had help from another dad an they did awesome! Landon did real good from the start but he got better an better as the season progressed.

Addison usually was a designated hitter that is all she really wanted to do an pretty much the whole team wanted to just hit. That is their age though. There was a couple games Addi was just the cheerleader for the team an I think she has found her calling in that.

(Addison getting ready to go hit the ball an show those boys how to do it) \
They made some great friends an so did we. I am glad the kids got the expierence. I played sports when I was young an loved it. An when I played basketball I was the only girl on the team as well. I just want to the kids to be happy an play whatever they want to play. I am afraid with Landon we might be doing everything known to man. An with Addi she wants to try soccer so we will be trying that in the near future. So I am pretty sure that now I am a sports mom but I wouldnt have it any other way.
Here are a few pictures for the season

Being their first sport I think they had a wonderful time! Many more to come...

We're on our way....

Addi is well on her way to being potty trained. An I could not be happier! We have a few accidents here an there but she is doing really well an we have only been working on it for about a couple of weeks. Now Landon he has no desire what so ever. An I am alittle bummed but I know it will come. Everybody says it takes boys alittle longer so I am hoping the saying is true.

So wish us luck while we tackle this lovely obsticle of toddler hood!!!!!!!

Texas vs. Alabama

Tonite is a big night in our house the BCS National Championship. Joel has been waiting days. Thank goodness he had to go to work today, or he would be going stir crazy here. He has the kids saying "Bama stinks". The Longhorns are a big favorite in this house. So tonite the kids will be in there Longhorn shirts rooting on their favorite team. It should be a great game! We def. have some true Longhorn fans in this house.

HOOK'EM HORNS!!!!!!!!
