Scissors

Held off as long as I could. Because I have heard horror stories!! haha
The kids have started using scissors at school, an this week Addi had homework to practice cutting straight lines. So I went out an bought kid scissors, but this is alittle scary for me. One because I am afraid they might use them to cut hair but I have tried to instill in them that we do not use scissors unless an adult is around. Cause I would just die if Addi was to cut her hair... An Joel might kill me first if that was to happen. But scissors are a thing they need to learn for pre-writing skill. So we are going to go with it. It just goes to show that my babies are growing up an not babies anymore.

Play date Time....

Last week Lisa had called an wanted to get the kids together before she started back to school. An of course I said sure its an easy way to let the kids play an for us to catch up. An since she has been going to school we can have many more play dates which everyone is happy about that haha. We headed over after breakfast we decided on her house so the kids could play with all the new Xmas stuff Ethan & Paige got. The kids were so excited to see each other. An I just think its the cutest thing when they all get excited about seeing one another. An after about 2 hours of destroying about 4 rooms in her house we decided to wear them out by taking them to the park, it was a nice day in January an we were going to take full advantage of it. It was alittle more windy than expected but they still had fun running around an burning off some major toddler energy. After about an hour then were getting hungry an alittle worn down so we headed to McDonalds their favorite place, an us not so much! They seem to have a wonderful morning an we were hoping for a long nap that afternoon. Here are some of the pics I took..

Already in a Worldwind

Its only January 5th an I am already blowing and going this new year. I am defintly trying to work on my to do list for this year. An I am finding out some of the things are alittle harder than I expected.
This time of year always creeps up on me with the kids birthday, an I go in a stir crazy mode. But most of which I got done today so that is a check off my mile long list. Now its just a few more things an I am going to try an not wait til the last minute to do it.

Now to my to do list for the year. I am trying to start couponing alot more than I was. One we def. could use the money who couldnt save some money here an there. Its alittle more challenging than I ever expected. But I am slowly getting the hang of it. An def. going to get better if it takes everything I have haha. An I am working to get some more things done on my list.

2011

I am glad to see 2010 go an bring a new year. I am not so thrilled that it will bring me two 4 yr olds. I cant believe they will be 4 in less than a month, the time sure has flown by. They bring such joy to everybody an they are truly the loves of my life. An in 2011 we will be welcoming a new little one into my family (not me) my sister. I cant wait to find out what she is having! Just wished she lived closer but maybe that will come true in the next couple yrs. But def. excited for a new baby an hope to get to go up there many times.
I have alot of new years resolutions hopefully I can keep to all of them. I am really going to try hard.

The kids had the honor to be in Joels cousin Beverly's wedding. I cant tell you how excited Addison was to be a flowergirl, she called it her wedding an talked bout it everyday. Landon would say something bout it every now an then but was not near as excited as his sister. An words can not express how adorable they looked in their dress an tux.





Thank you Beverly & BJ for letting them be apart of your day! They loved it.

Christmas 2010

I know its been forever since I have posted. An in 2011 I am going to do my best to blog everyday or at least a couple times a week, along with taking more pics.

We have been very busy this Christmas season, we have gone an seen Santa (aka Joels uncle) in Sundance Square in Ft. Worth. Decorated two ginger bread houses, made tons of yummy cookies. Christmas parties, Christmas programs at school. I will leave you with some wonderful pics.

First Day of PreK

Boy was I sooooo not ready for this day! The kids started PreK today an I cant believe it, they cant be old enough yet they just cant. But they are an they needed something to do they were getting so bored here at home with me, we would do stuff but they need to be in a school atmosphere. So we have been telling them about it for months an they always kept asking are we going to school today. So finally I could tell them that yes we are going to school today. They were so excited to say the least. We had tinkerbell an spiderman backpacks, batman an princess lunch boxes an napmats.
