Update!

Friday we went to the doc for their well check. An the kids are doing wonderfully. Landon has now bypassed his sister in weight and heighth which I am very happy with we thought he would it just took him a bit. He is now 3 lbs heavier, he weighs in at 30 and Addi at 27. I think she will take after her Nana an Landon hopefully after his grandpas my dad and Joels dad. The doctor was very pleased that they hadnt been in for any sick checks, and I was also happy bout that. The Dr. said both were on track with speech and everything an that Landon was ahead on speech. He repeats everything even says things I didnt even know he knew of. The hard thing is to keep him from getting bored, cause that could eventually get him in trouble. Just being him knowing how to get into more things. He said Addi was also doing an amazing job in her speech as well. She was talking up a storm to the doc. They were up to date on all there shots so they didnt have to get any which is always wonderful so I dont go home with cranky toddlers. After the doc appt we met up with Grandma an Lori along with Robert an Emilee an took the kids to McDonalds to play. My kids love McDonalds they pretty much know of every one around town. An some they have never been to. But Landon loves playing with Robert. An I am so glad they can finally play together, now were just waiting on Emilee an then her an Addi can play. I think Emilee will give Addi a run for her money. Which could be a good thing. Lol.
Saturday we went to Tyler's birthday party. They had a jump house an cooked out. My son finally got in the jump house I was so thrilled. We had gone to Ethan an Paige's party at Pump It Up (its a place that has blownup slides an jump houses everything) and Landon wouldnt get into one of those. An I have thought bout having their 3rd bday at that place but since Landon wouldnt get in I was looking for other places. But I might could do it there we will see. They had fun playing in that an on the trampoline and swing set.
Sunday we took the kids to have some hot dogs and swim at Joels Grandpa's house, he has a little community pool like we do but not near the kids in the neighborhood like we do. We had a great time with Grandpa Gig, Gigi (Dianne's new name we came up with yesturday)Lena, Elaine and Grandpa. The kids loved swimming I am so glad they start swim lessons in a 2 weeks. Landon absolutly loves it and Addi does to. I am more suprised by Landon then Addi.
An I am trying to do better bout taking pics but when off an forgot my camera this weekend. But here are a few from the past couple weeks.

Again, been awhile!

I know its been awhile since I updated. Cause looking at the pics on the blog lets me know as well. The kids dont even look the same an those pics were taken in Jan. Nothing to much has been going on just the same ol same ol around here. They are growing up so much. Everyday they suprise me with how well they talk or what they can do, or how they make me laugh. Even how they fight with each other. An lately its been a little rough with them fighting. They do things to each other just to get the other one to react. An I seriously didnt think they would fight since they are boy/girl boy was I wrong. An I cant say its truly bad but its frustrating to say the least. They do things just to get a reaction out of the other or just to tease. I knew it would probably get bad eventually but to start now is just crazy they are only 2 1/2 (well almost 2 1/2). I guess they are not babies anymore! (tear tear). I am goin to try and post some pics of Easter an just recently tomorrow. So check back for pics!

Valentine's Day

The kids still dont fully understand Valentine's Day, I think they know they get stuff but that is about it! Lisa got them balloons on Friday along with the beautiful flowers Ethan & Paigey gave me. I made Valentine's cookies for the kids with little hearts and everything. They seemed to enjoy the cookies.... Me and Joel decided to go out on Friday night instead of Saturday due to beating the crowds but it was still very crowded on Friday night as well. We had a nice dinner an went out for ice cream afterwards. Saturday he made me breakfast and let me sleep in (that is so nice it doesnt happen very often) then we had to get the kids ready for my moms of multiples Valentine's Party at the park. It was a little cool but I thought they would still have fun. An burn some much needed energy! I had called Pawpaw (my dad) to see if he would like to join us an of course he couldnt resist. So the kids were excited to see him as well. The ran, climbed, slid, jumped everything. They had a pond with ducks on it they were very interested in that. It was hard to keep them away from it. We will defintly have to go back an feed the ducks one day. They played for about 2 hrs or so an started to get hungry so we decided to go get something to eat and stop by Grandma's house (Joel's grandmother). They were to busy playing there they didnt want to eat! So by then we were way past nap and decided to head home so they could take a nap. So we had a wonderful nice Valentine's day. I am so thankful for my kids, my husband an my family an friends an this day made me realize to treasure the time I have with them. Our family defintly misses the ones that have left us but we do know that they are in a better place and we will always remember them no matter how old we are.

Toddlers or Kittens

Lately the kids have been acting like kittens especially Landon he crawls on all fours and starts meowing over and over again! He has recently got his sister doing this an they follow each other meowing. Its so funny to watch them and if I am sitting in the chair Landon will climb up in the chair meowing. Its so darn cute! I guess they picked it up off of the t.v. cause we do not have any cats here! I guess this is what to come from my little stinkers in pretend playing and everything. It just goes to show they are getting bigger by the day :(, its so cute to watch though so I will take kittens any day of the week.

Actual Birthday Party @ Little Gym!

So I decided this year to keep the party from being at my house (cause gosh that is so much work), I needed to find a place indoors cause their bday is in January. I looked a couple other places and decided that the Little Gym would be good for them. Addi loves climbing on everything and Landon is starting to figure out that he can do the same thing sister can an not be scared. I went ahead an booked the place. An just prayed the kids would enjoy it. Well we had a play date with my moms of multiples group about a month before the party. An they absolutely loved it and got mad when we had to leave. So I was very excited and pleased to know that I they would enjoy it. The Little Gym staff did a really good job with the kids. They did a few activities and we had a few little snags with Addi wanting to play longer with the stuff they had brought out rather than put it up.
But I couldn't blame her they brought out some bells to shake while they sang a song an then wanted 2 yr olds to put them right back after the song. An the same thing with the balls. Any 2 yr old doesn't want you to get something out and sing one song an then put it up. But she soon got over it an was fine.
All in all it turned out to be a great party with a Yo Gabba Gabba (the show the kids love right now) cake that they loved. The only bad thing was me forgetting the candles for their cake.
My mom picked up the cake an I totally didn't even think about it. Bad mom award I know, wont let it happen again. But the played their little hearts out an I was happy! These two kids are truly blessed with wonderful family and friends! Thank you so much.

They Turned 2! Pre-Party....

So I am going to back track a little bit just with the kids birthday! They turned 2 on Friday January 23. It still shocks me that they are TWO... I seriously don't know where the time has gone everything seems to be a blur. The saying they grow to fast is def. true and I am learning that.

Well Friday night their actual birthday we decided to take them to Chuck E Cheese, boy was that a mistake. If ever going to Chuck E Cheese don't go on a Friday or weekend if you don't have to. Its a mad house like no other! Kids running around all ages some not even supervised. We decided to invite a couple people to join us. It turned out to pretty much be a pre-party to the actual party which was on Sat. Hopefully the kids don't expect that every year!! But all in all I think the kids had a blast, I also think the BIG kids(aka Brian, Kristie, and Joel)did to!


So we ate some pizza played games and let the kids run ragged! Addi loved the dancing characters on stage! When they were singing Happy Birthday to the kids that were having a actual party there, she ran down there an started dancing with the Chuckie and all the staff and kids it was so darn cute! She got so excited everytime they did something new. Landon wasn't sure about Chuckie but he did enjoy running around riding little rides and playing games. So all in all it was a pretty great time! I think they truly enjoyed it. But if we decide to go back it will be on a weekday night, that is for sure! Thanks to everyone that came out!
